Chisen Miyata is the founder of Health Return Mandala Pty Ltd.
Chisen has a passion for life and health. She has an acute awareness and value of ‘touch’. Her belief of awareness, health and life improvement and love of nature led her to create HEALTH RETURN MANDALA T/A MANDALA MUSCLE THERAPY, whiched opened on 3rd MAY 2021.
Chisen’s vision started as a young girl at school. Her mother always helped people and had been educated at school to help people and kindness. In her teenagers Chisen felt she wanted to help people and society. She felt compelled to contribute to the planet and society, often assessing her own values and usefulness to our planet.
She created a mission for herself, how to help people. For 30 years, she had been looking for something to commit her passion.
Chisen’s parents often took her to receive massages from different people in different places frequently since she was teenager, then it became a habit. When she goes out with friends or family, she goes for a massage. In a blink of an eye, over 30 years had gone by.
She had a very loving supportive husband, and his family treated her like their own daughter. She had a beautiful marriage. Her husband and his family gave her a good life and she didn’t need to work, and she could have whatever she wants.
However, she likes to work and sometimes she did two jobs a day and also studied. She left her husband as she visualized the life with her husband as a housewife was not the purpose of her life. She has a living value system in her body, and she was looking for her identity.
When she returned to Macau from Japan, she tried to open a massage clinic but was unsuccessful as she did not have experience in massage.
Then, when she was living in Australia, she asked her Japanese friend, “why are you a massage therapist? Because you grew up in Australia and spoke perfect English. Chisen had an impression that Asian people can’t speak fluent English so therefore do massage. Friend said massage gives her freedom and the money isn’t bad.
Freedom is the priority for Chisen when choosing a job, so she thought she could do this job and have the freedom to manage her young son. Shortly after she saw an ad for a massage shop seeking a therapist without needing qualification or experience, and she took the job.
Chisen didn’t get paid for two months, just practising massage. Her hands were so sore as nobody taught her about correct posture and how to massage correctly.
She often didn’t have many clients as she wasn’t a qualified therapist and sometimes, she only made $27 a day and her wage in general was very low. She did however find it very fulfilling, unlike many other jobs. Massaging therapy made her feel connected with her clients- Balance for them and herself; Creating a calming state and true bright energy. She did many different jobs in different counties and cities in her past. However, she found that with this job, she experienced beautiful feeling, peaceful environment, care and love for client, true connections, balance for clients and oneself, and creation of good positive energy.
When Chisen experienced emotions while receiving massage, she cried and had a great conversation with her therapists. She also experienced times when her clients cried and had a great conversation with her naturally. The connection was miraculous and living in her system.
Massage helps connect oneself and helps put focus on our body to let go of stress, pain and emotion.
Whilst receiving a massage, our body chemistry is more balanced, and we are in a calm and relaxed state. When body is calm, decision making can become easier with less distraction and a still mind.
She felt deep down into a client, feeling all people are beautiful and every one of us has problems. Due to therapists practising their good energy, they achieve balance, have good chemistry in their bodies, and are able to heal themselves and the client. She feels a beautiful trust relationship and feels every life is interesting.
Chisen had a goal of opening her own clinic. After working for a few months, her boss wanted to sell his clinic to her, but she refused as she thought she still had a lot to learn. She committed to this career, she spent more than 10years to practice and learn as much as she can, frequently analysing the human body with nature, planet, universe laws and illness.
While Chisen was operating Mandala Muscle Therapy & Massage, she spent two years planning to open in July 2023 her Health Return Mandala Pty Ltd creation of a 2nd venture– “Mandala Health Wellness” with the philosophy of helping people with better health wellness and healing options. However, opening the new shop has had delays, encountering problem after problem. Finally, it will be opened on July 18, 2024.
However, everything has been extremely challenging to her beliefs and values, skills and mindset. She has never experienced such severe stress and she was tearful for months and months. Her goals and tenacity drove her, and her belief of 20 years helped her fight on to a successful conclusion.
Starting in her 20s, Chisen has been to multiple various hot spring all over Japan weekly for 7 years with friends and family. It became her habit. At that time, China did not have many hot springs. She had a thought of opening a hot spring in China. She spent lots of time by herself enjoying a spa and sauna. She felt this was very healing. In Australia over the last 2 years, bath houses have become very popular. She kept her habit of attending these healing places.
Health Return Mandala Pty Ltd philosophy is created from Chisen’s life and experience. Chisen’s life is an example that describes Mandala Health Wellness philosophy- “Our selves are affected by our past and present, what we did in our life becomes our foundation for our future. What made us “become” can be only one thought and you commit to it. What helps us make choices in life can be just someone telling us a word or a sentence or a story that guides your life pathway.
What we are today comes from the habits we build every day.
Thoughts emerge from our desire and experience or our neural processes, and that neural processes come from everywhere; and the believe and mindset from our faith, culture, education, mentors, and personal experiences. Your belief system then impacts your personal values. These are the things you identify as important to your personal well-being.
Chisen shares her life story to help increase people's awareness and help find their personal identity. She also wishes to express every business is like an individual person; they have birthdays, backgrounds, cultures, parents, believes, mindsets, history, also crisis and illness like human life cycle.
Our life or a business and a true health wellness start with how we identify ourselves. How do we truly want to live and what we want to become?
How we are, what we know, what we create, and what is existing!!
